SuperRare sparked the onchain art movement and remains the top digital art exchange.

I joined as the first design hire and built the design department from scratch — hiring and leading a team of four across product and brand, partnering directly with the founders, while still designing daily. ## Web3 frontier

The category was new — most screens had no reference. I invented new social marketplace patterns and art collecting formats. Over time, I reoriented the product around social signal rather than pure marketplace transactionality.

We iterated relentlessly on core flows — turning blockchain friction into smooth UX, with artists and collectors as close-in stakeholders the whole way.

## Internal tools

We built a design system and brand toolkit that multiplied output — engineers prototyping without mockups, marketing shipping on-brand assets independently.

Plus an AI-powered research pipeline — interview transcripts, support tickets, and social channels feeding a tagged database used across product, brand, and marketing.
